China Mobile Launches National Museum Audience Service Platform

TapTechNews on May 19, it was reported that on May 18, China Mobile, in conjunction with the National Cultural Heritage Administration, launched a national museum audience service platform at the main event venue of the International Museum Day in China.

TapTechNews learned that this platform gathers information of 327 (including 123 released in 2024) national first-class museums. Through the unified entrance of the WeChat mini-program Tanbo, it displays information such as museum reservations, exhibition news, and collections, and provides services to the public for free in a map-based manner. In the future, it will further expand the number of museums and enrich and improve more information content.

In the aspect of integrating big data, through the ability of China Mobile's Wutong big data, it analyzes the passenger flow situation of each museum in real time to inform the audience of the optimal visiting strategy and provide more accurate decision-making information for the audience on the travel route;

In the aspect of integrating cloud computing, it uses the mobile cloud to integrate the service information of each museum to facilitate the efficient travel of the audience;

In the aspect of integrating AI, based on China Mobile's Jiutian large model, it will incorporate the data of cultural relics and collections to establish a large model of cultural relics and collections to provide the audience with information-based interpretation services.

China Mobile stated that in the next step, under the guidance of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, it will build a one-stop service center for museum audiences based on technologies and capabilities such as large models, knowledge graphs, AR guided tours, digital display of cultural relics, and video live streaming.
