Samsung Updates Galaxy A Series Models with One UI 6.1, But Without AI Features

TapTechNews May 14th news, following the One UI 6.1 update for its high-end Galaxy series models, Samsung is currently bringing this update to its mid-range Galaxy A series models (including A34 and A54), but has cut the AI features that were highly anticipated on flagship models.

TapTechNews noticed that Samsung has already pushed out the One UI 6.1 update for models such as Galaxy S22, S21, Fold4, and Flip4. However, unlike the high-end models, the update for the mid-range A series does not include any AI features.

It is reported that the One UI 6.1 update brings upgraded photo editing features, wallpapers that support depth effects, new lock screen widgets, more customization options, enhanced battery protection, and other optimizations for A series phones. Unfortunately, just like Samsung did not mention AI features coming to mid-range models before, this update does indeed lack those features.

It is worth mentioning that according to TechIssuesToday, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which recently received the One UI 6.1 update, also lacks AI features such as 'Circle to Search'.
