HUAWEI's AITO M9 Car Achieves High C-NCAP Score in China

TapTechNews July 15th news, China Automotive Technology and Research Center announced today the C-NCAP results of the HUAWEI HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility's AITO M9 car: the comprehensive score rate is 93.9%, and among the eight items in the three aspects of occupant protection, pedestrian protection, and active safety, they all rank in the top 20% in the evaluation of all vehicle models.

The AITO M9 Max pure electric SUV has completed all evaluation items in accordance with the C-NCAP (2021 version) management rules. TapTechNews sorts out the evaluation score situation as follows:

Comprehensive score rate 93.9%

The score rate of the occupant protection part is 96.98%, with a weight of 60%, and the partial score rate weight is 58.19%

The score rate of the pedestrian protection part is 75.38%, with a weight of 15%, and the partial score rate weight is 11.31%

The score rate of the active safety part is 97.79%, with a weight of 25%, and the partial score rate weight is 24.45%

Electric safety passed

This year, 8 cars have participated in the C-NCAP evaluation of China Automotive Technology and Research Center. In addition to the AITO M9 for which the results are announced this time, the score situations of the other 7 cars are as follows:

The China New Car Assessment Program (C-NCAP) was released in January this year and officially implemented on July 1st. The evaluation content adds new active safety test items, including 'assisted driving' functions such as door opening warning, driver monitoring system, and traffic signal recognition.
