In the artificial intelligence boom, SupermicroComputer (SMCI) has occupied the market headlines for a considerable period of time. The company not only has an excellent stock price performance, with a year-on-year increase of 182%, but also successfully established a cooperative relationship with NVIDIA and became the focus of the market.

SMCI focuses on high-performance servers and storage systems specifically designed for artificial intelligence workloads, and orders have flooded in in the past few quarters.

TapTechNews learned from the report that SMCI has increased the stocking intensity in recent weeks, and supply chains such as Auras, Nidec Supertron, Huatai, and Youqun have all got a share.

Major global cloud service providers (CSPs) are accelerating the testing of GB200AI servers, and the mass production side is not idle. The upstream and downstream supply chains led by SMCI have started to accelerate the rush to prepare goods after learning the SMCI's GB200 cabinet shipment target for next year, striving to deliver on time in the second half of the year.

Industry insiders pointed out that in order to compete with Foxconn and Quanta, SMCI has recently begun to increase the intensity of urging materials from the supply chain, and even directly set a clear shipment target number, which is to strengthen the confidence of the supply chain and expect the supply chain to prepare goods early so that the cabinets equipped with GB200 can be delivered to end customers on time next year.
