Noctua Launches New Generation 140mm Square-Frame Fan NF-A14x25G2 Series

TapTechNews September 30th news, after adopting the NF-A14x25rG2 with a circular frame, Noctua today launched the new-generation flagship 140mm square-frame fan NF-A14x25G2 series.

Compared with its circular-frame sibling model, the main difference of the NF-A14x25G2 PWM standard version is the adoption of a different fan frame design (TapTechNews note: so the mounting hole spacing is also different), the wind power parameters are the same, that is:

In standard mode: the maximum speed is 1500 RPM, the maximum air volume is 155.6 cubic meters per hour (about 91.58 CFM), the maximum static pressure is 2.56 mmHg, and the maximum noise is 24.8 dB(A);

With the speed reduction cable: the maximum speed is 1250 RPM, the maximum air volume is 127.1 cubic meters per hour (about 74.81 CFM), the maximum static pressure is 1.3 mmHg, and the maximum noise is 19.7 dB(A).

The NF-A14x25G2 uses Sterrox liquid crystal polymer material, is equipped with etaPERF motor and SSO2 bearing, and is equipped with 9 progressively curved fan blades. Noctua claims it is an all-round product: whether in low-impedance, airflow-dominated chassis cooling applications, or in high-impedance, high-static pressure required blowing and blowing tower scenarios, it all has excellent performance.

Noctua provides in the NF-A14x25G2 series in addition to the standard single fan, there is also an Sx2-PP dual-pack with a ±25 RPM speed difference between the two fans and the ultra-quiet NF-A14x25G2LS-PWM low-speed variant.

The parameters of the NF-A14x25G2LS-PWM fan are as follows:

In standard mode: the maximum speed is 800 RPM, the maximum air volume is 81.6 cubic meters per hour (about 48.03 CFM), the maximum static pressure is 0.71 mmHg, and the maximum noise is 11.4 dB(A);

With the speed reduction cable: the maximum speed is 600 RPM, the maximum air volume is 67.5 cubic meters per hour (about 39.73 CFM), the maximum static pressure is 0.43 mmHg, and the maximum noise is 8.6 dB(A).

The suggested retail price of Noctua NF-A14x25G2 PWM and NF-A14x25G2LS-PWM single fans is $39.9 (currently about 279 RMB), and the suggested retail price of the NF-A14x25G2PWMSx2-PP dual-pack is $76.9 (currently about 538 RMB).
