Mobileye and Zeekr to Accelerate Technology Localization and Expand Cooperation

TapTechNews August 2nd news, Mobileye and Zeekr jointly announced yesterday that based on the successful cooperation foundation in the past few years, the two sides plan to accelerate the process of technology localization in China, and further integrate Mobileye technology into the next-generation Zeekr models, and continuously promote the implementation of driving safety and autonomous driving technology in the Chinese and global markets.

TapTechNews noted that since the end of 2021, Zeekr has delivered more than 240,000 Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009 models equipped with the Mobileye SuperVision solution to Chinese and global customers. The two sides plan to accelerate the promotion of the large-scale deployment and delivery of the core technology of the Mobileye SuperVision platform.

Zeekr plans to deploy the SuperVision solution on more models and the next-generation manufacturing platform, and further expand the coverage range of its existing NZP autonomous pilot assistance system on highways and urban roads. Up to now, the highway NZP based on SuperVision has covered more than 150 cities in China.

The two sides will utilize Zeekr's vehicle manufacturing technology and Mobileye's autonomous driving technology, and based on the EyeQ6H system-integrated chip, launch the next-generation advanced driving assistance system (ADAS), automated and driverless vehicles (from L2+ to L4 levels) products for Zeekr and its related brands in the global market.
