Microsoft Launches New ProteusController Xbox Controller for Gamers

On May 16, TapTechNews reported that Microsoft announced the launch of a new accessible Xbox controller, the ProteusController, a multi-in-one kit that allows gamers to build their own gaming experience.

The controller features multiple ball modules combined together, with a 'plug and play' feature, allowing players to build over 1 billion traditional and custom configurations as well as LED lighting variations.

The device is created by Microsoft's partner byowave, priced at $299, with an initial price of $255 (approximately 1841 RMB) (TapTechNews note: prices are converted to USD), and supports Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows 10, and Windows 11, with shipping set to begin in the fall of this year.
