Samsung W25/Galaxy ZFold6 Slim Camera Specs, Thickness, Screen, Release Date

TapTechNews August 23rd news, the Dutch tech media GalaxyClub released a blog post yesterday (August 22nd), sharing the camera specifications information of the Samsung W25 (China)/Galaxy ZFold6 Slim (Korea) foldable phone.

Camera

TapTechNews cited sources as reporting that the model number of the Samsung W25 phone is SM-F958N, and the code name is Q6A. Its camera is most likely to continue using the configuration of the standard version of Galaxy ZFold6. The front camera on the outer screen is 10 million pixels, and the ultra-wide-angle camera is 1200 million pixels.

However, the Samsung W25 will upgrade the under-screen camera. Since Galaxy ZFold3, Samsung Galaxy ZFold3, Fold4, Fold5, and Fold6 have all used 4 million pixels under-screen cameras, and the Samsung W25 will be upgraded to 500 million pixels.

Thickness

Sources said that the Samsung W25 is about 10 millimeters in the folded state, which is about 2 millimeters thinner than the ordinary Galaxy ZFold6.

Screen

It is reported that the outer screen of the Samsung W25 is 6.5 inches, and the inner screen is 8 inches. By contrast, the inner screen of the ordinary Galaxy ZFold6 phone is 6.3 inches, and the outer screen is 7.6 inches.

Release Time

Reports say that Samsung is testing the system firmware of the W25, which will be based on the Android 14 system, indicating that it will be released before the debut of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. Sources learned from channels that Samsung will release at the end of September.
