Tencent File Assistant to Cease WeChat Mini-program/Web Operation in 2024

TapTechNews August 5th news, Tencent File Assistant released an announcement stating that starting from October 11th, 2024, the WeChat mini-program/web side will cease operation, and users are urged to download data as soon as possible.

In addition, from now on the backup file function of the File Assistant is closed. Users can browse and download backed-up files normally, but cannot backup new files. For member users, the official said a refund channel has been opened (Sync Assistant App - File - Shared Space - Click Announcement - Refund Channel).

Dear users:

Thank you for your continuous support to the File Assistant (mini-program). Due to business adjustments, starting from October 11th, 2024, the File Assistant mini-program/web page will stop operating;

From now on, the backup file function of the File Assistant (mini-program) will be closed. Before October 11th, 2024, you can browse and download backed-up files normally, but cannot backup new files. Please save your backed-up file documents as soon as possible.

For the affected member users, we have opened a refund channel. You can fill in the account information to be refunded in the Sync Assistant App - File - Shared Space - Click Announcement - Refund Channel. We will handle the refund for you as soon as possible after verifying the information you submitted.
