TechNews May 15 - GELID Solutions recently launched its first air cooler product, Prawn, featuring a single tower and single fan design with curved edge fins.
The Prawn is 154mm tall and features a memory clearance structure. It is equipped with 4x6mm gravity-defying heat pipes that make direct contact with the CPU lid for heat dissipation, paired with 51 aluminum fins with a nominal heat dissipation capacity of 180W.
The Prawn air cooler comes with a 12025 standard Squama2501B fan.
The Squama2501B features a nine-blade design, includes 8 ARGB LED beads, with a maximum speed of 2000RPM, maximum airflow of 80.81CFM, maximum air pressure of 2.78mmH2O, and maximum noise level of 34.2dB(A).
GELID Solutions stated that the cooler is compatible with Intel LGA2011/1200/115X/1700 and AMD AM3/AM3+/AM4/AM5 processor platforms.
The Prawn air cooler will soon be available in the Japanese market with a local distributor's suggested retail price of 3980 yen (approx. $36 USD, TapTechNews conversion: approximately 184 RMB).
