NavInfo to Provide Intelligent Driving Products for Great Wall Motors

TapTechNews September 13th news, NavInfo today released an announcement that NavInfo received a定点 notice from Great Wall Motors.

NavInfo will provide intelligent driving products based on Horizon chips for some models that will go into mass production and be listed starting from the fourth quarter of 2024. The specific sales quantity and amount depend on the sales volume of the models with relevant functions that Great Wall Motors mass-produces and lists.

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, NavInfo released the NIinCar intelligent vehicle integrated solution, featuring cost-effectiveness and full-stack controllability. NavInfo has become a定点 supplier of Great Wall Motors as a Tier1 (TapTechNews note: Tier 1 supplier).

Great Wall Motors' total sales in August 2024 were 94,461 units, a 17.21% decrease from the same period last year:

The sales volume of the Haval brand was 56,166 units, a 15.57% decrease year-on-year;

The sales volume of the WEY brand was 3,001 units, a 46.58% decrease year-on-year;

The sales volume of the Great Wall pickup was 13,718 units, a 19.50% decrease year-on-year;

The sales volume of the Euler brand was 5,151 units, a 49.53% decrease year-on-year;

The sales volume of the Tank brand was 16,350 units, an 11.42% increase year-on-year.

In June this year, Great Wall Motors signed a HiCar cooperation agreement with Huawei. Great Wall Motors will become one of the first batch of automotive companies to obtain in-depth development resources such as the source code and development tools of the HUAWEI HiCar product. In the future, the two sides also plan to share the successful cases in the cooperation process with the industry.
