Tesla Cybertruck to Launch Battery Armor and Rock Sliders by Year-End

TapTechNews September 13th news, Tesla Cybertruck's chief engineer Wes Morrill tweeted on the X platform on September 9th, confirming that Battery Armor and Rock Sliders will be launched for the Cybertruck all-electric pickup before the end of this year.

Morrill didn't explain what materials the battery armor and rock sliders will be made of, but no matter what the material is, these parts may not be cheap.

The Tesla Cybertruck is promoted as a rugged and durable off-road vehicle, but its performance in off-roading is not particularly outstanding.

Morrill released this information after a Cybertruck video went viral. In this video, the blogger tested the crashworthiness of the Cybertruck and deliberately drove the Cybertruck into the fence.
