Philips Launches Evnia 34M2C6500 Monitor with QD-OLED Screen

TapTechNews June 12th, Philips launched the Evnia 34M2C6500 monitor overseas today. It is equipped with a 34-inch curved QD-OLED screen and has a price of 699.99 pounds (TapTechNews note: currently about $908 US dollars).

According to the introduction, the Evnia 34M2C6500 monitor uses a 34-inch QD-OLED panel with a curvature of 1800R, has a resolution of WQHD (3440x1440) and a refresh rate of 175 Hz. The nominal 0.03ms GtG gray-level response time and has passed the VESA ClearMR9000 certification.

This screen covers 99.3% DCI-P3 color gamut and 97.8% AdobeRGB color gamut, with a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and supports 10-bit color depth.

In terms of brightness, the SDR full-screen brightness of 34M2C6500 is 250 nits, the 10% APL brightness is 450 nits, and the 3% APL brightness reaches 1000 nits, and has passed the VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification.

TapTechNews noticed that this monitor also comes with functions such as Ambiglow lighting effect, SmartImage gaming mode, MultiView display, etc. The original bracket supports height adjustment.

In terms of connectivity, Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 provides two HDMI 2.0 (only supports WQHD 100Hz) and one DisplayPort 1.4 interface, provides USB3.2 Gen1 Hub function. Unfortunately, there is no Type-C interface.
