TapTechNews July 3rd, after being announced nearly two years ago, the Fydetab Duo 2-in-1 tablet finally hit the market, equipped with the Rockchip RK3588S processor, with a price of $675. ($1 = 7 RMB)
The Fydetab Duo claims to be the world's first consumer-grade ChromiumOS tablet, running the FydeOS operating system, while being compatible with web, Android and Linux application ecosystems at the same time.
Besides, this tablet also supports installing Ubuntu, ArchLinux and AOSP14 systems, and will support Windows on ARM in the future.
The Fydetab Duo tablet is 0.33 inches thick and weighs 0.84 pounds, and the total weight with the keyboard and bracket is 2.9 pounds, equipped with a 12.35-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 and supports P3 wide color gamut and ten-point touch.
In terms of performance, this tablet is equipped with an 8nm Rockchip RK3588S processor, 8GB LPDDR4X memory and 256GB eMMC5.1 storage.
TapTechNews noticed that this tablet also supports the Wacom WGP stylus with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, fingerprint recognition, has a built-in 42Wh battery, and is equipped with a full-featured USB-C port, a microSD/NanoSIM combo slot and a 3.5mm audio port.
