Apple Acknowledges Installation Issues of iPadOS 18 on M4-equipped iPad Pro

TapTechNews September 21, the tech media MacRumors released a blog post yesterday (September 20), reporting that Apple sent an internal memo to Apple Authorized Service Providers this week, acknowledging that there are problems with installing iPadOS 18 on iPad Pro models equipped with the M4 chip.

TapTechNews quoted part of the memo , Apple acknowledged that a small number of iPad Pro models could not boot up and became bricked after attempting to install iPadOS 18, and said it is working hard to solve this problem, during which time the affected iPad Pro models cannot use iPadOS 18.

Apple suggests that if a user's iPad Pro model has this problem, they can try to force a restart. It is not yet clear how long it will take Apple to troubleshoot the cause of the problem and release a fix patch.
