TapTechNews August 1st news, source ParasGuglani tweeted on the X platform yesterday (July 31st), revealing that TECNO, a brand under Transsion, will release the Phantom V Fold2 and Phantom V2 Flip folding phones in late August, and shared relevant photos of the latter.
The exposed photo is not clear enough, only showing the outline of the Phantom V2 Flip phone, but the screen part is consistent with the FCC certification file.
TapTechNews previously reported that the Phantom V2 Flip model is AE11 and has appeared in the GeekBench benchmark database, with a single-core score of 832 points and a multi-core score of 3130 points, and it is estimated to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor.
According to the FCC certification file, the Phantom V2 Flip is equipped with 3410 mAh and 1180 mAh, totaling 4590 mAh, which is a 15% increase in battery capacity compared to the Phantom V Flip.
Previously exposed information said that this phone supports 70W fast charging, 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage space.
The size of the Phantom V2 Flip phone when unfolded is expected to be 170x74x8 inches (approx. 43.18x18.8x2.03 cm), and when folded it is 85x74x16 inches (approx. 21.59x18.8x4.06 cm).
