Disney's HoloTile Brings Immersive Experience in D23 Event

TapTechNews August 13th news, in the D23 showcase event held by Disney last week, the DisneyImagineering team demonstrated the internal details of the HoloTile (Holographic Tile Floor), by matching multiple small rotating tiles to bring an immersive experience to the users standing on this floor.

Users standing on the holographic tile floor can walk in any direction, and the floor will slide to keep the users in place. The large screen on the back can display the immersive experience, opening up new application cases in the fields such as virtual reality. The holographic tile floor supports any number of users and allows them to be in virtual reality. We designed a panoramic floor where people can walk in an imagined place and help us design new attractions.
