SpaceX Becomes the Most Valuable US Private Company

TapTechNews June 28th news, although SpaceX has not been listed yet, Bloomberg reports indicate that the company's current valuation has reached 210 billion US dollars, which is much more valuable than traditional brands such as McDonald's and Disney. This also means that SpaceX has become the most valuable private US company in history, and it is only second to ByteDance's 268 billion US dollars (currently about 1.95 trillion RMB) in the world.

According to reports, due to strong investor demand, the current internal share purchase price of SpaceX is 112 US dollars per share (TapTechNews note: currently about 816 RMB), which means that its valuation has approached 210 billion US dollars (currently about 1.53 trillion RMB), while the company's valuation in a transaction last December was only 180 billion US dollars.

The Dow Jones Barron's Weekly pointed out that SpaceX has now become the most valuable aerospace company globally and also the space enterprise with the highest number of launches in the world.

By contrast, the second-ranked aerospace company, General Electric Aerospace, is valued at approximately 186 billion US dollars; and the third, fourth, and fifth-ranked are Raytheon Technologies (RTX), Boeing, and Lockheed Martin.

If SpaceX were to go public at this valuation, it would become the 35th largest company in the S&P 500 index.
