SpaceX Becomes the Most Valuable US Private Company

The Dow Jones Barron's Weekly pointed out that SpaceX has now become the most valuable aerospace company globally and also the space enterprise with the highest number of launches in the world.

By contrast, the second-ranked aerospace company, General Electric Aerospace, is valued at approximately 186 billion US dollars; and the third, fourth, and fifth-ranked are Raytheon Technologies (RTX), Boeing, and Lockheed Martin.

If SpaceX were to go public at this valuation, it would become the 35th largest company in the S&P 500 index.
