Baidu Maps V20 Lands on BYD App Store with New Features

TapTechNews June 28th news, Baidu Maps announced today that the V20 version has now landed on the BYD app store, supporting one-step navigation initiated from WeChat, new lane-level navigation, star voice packs, and the brand-new Xiaodu, etc.

TapTechNews summarizes the main functions as follows:

Vehicle-mobile interconnection, one-step navigation initiated from WeChat

New lane-level navigation, accurate guidance in 360 cities

First launched with star voice packs, parking recommendations, and green wave navigation

The brand-new Xiaodu, knowing knowledge and more about traveling

Currently only supports DiLink models, please refer to the actual vehicle for details. When using Baidu Maps, some intelligent assisted driving functions are temporarily not supported; when using Baidu Maps, it is necessary to use Xiaodu for voice control.

TapTechNews noticed that Baidu Maps V20 was first publicly displayed in April this year and announced that it will be launched on Tesla, Huawei's intelligent cockpit, and Jiyue, claiming to become the standard configuration of 300 million vehicles.

According to the previously officially disclosed information, Baidu Maps V20 has launched four major versions in total:

Basic version: not customized, free upgrade;

3D leading version: standard equipment for all smart cars, and the car navigation takes a leap beyond new forces;

3D flagship version: top configuration of 8295 chip models;

SR intelligent driving version: top configuration for urban high-level intelligent driving models.

Among them, Baidu Maps V20 3D leading version, flagship version, and SR intelligent driving version not only support iOS and Android but also support systems such as Linux, QNX, and HarmonyOS.
