It is known that this model adopts a right-hand drive layout (Great Wall has previously launched a right-hand drive version of the Tank 300 in Australia), and the price is 250,000 Ringgit (TapTechNews note: currently about 400,000 RMB). The model sold in the local area is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged inline-four gasoline engine, which can output 220 hp and 380 Nm of power, and the power is transmitted to the wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronically selectable part-time four-wheel drive system (2H, 4H, 4L).

The GWMTank 300 in the Malaysian version is standard with LED headlights and taillights, LED daytime running lights, heavy-duty bumpers and wheel arches, skid plates, side steps, and 18-inch wheels, and a full-size spare tire is also installed on the rear door.

According to the recent reports of TapTechNews, Cheng JinKui, the president of Great Wall Motors' ASEAN business, said in an interview that Great Wall operates a fully built factory in Thailand, and the new factories in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam are expected to go into production this year or next year.
