Huawei's First F5G-A Optical application innovation center settles in Wuhan

Huawei stated that the relevant optical application innovation center will focus on the two directions of optical connection and optical perception, providing a series of optical application solutions for industry users, while also doing a good job in the innovation and integration verification of the F5G-A solution, industrial ecological cooperation and other key tasks.

TapTechNews found out through inquiry that the F5G-A standard was initially announced in November 2023. This standard is mainly for the commercial cloud market and has six characteristics of 'fixed broadband', 'all-optical connection', 'guaranteed quality experience', 'eal-time resilient connection', 'optical perception and visualization', and 'green agile all-optical network', mainly including the following specifications:

Three-dimensional computing backbone network: Through the 3D Mesh three-dimensional architecture, 400G ultra-large bandwidth and more than 99.9% reliability, it realizes unobstructed connection and lossless cooperation between intelligent computing data centers, connecting computing power resources of operators, industries, data centers, the Internet and other businesses.

All-Mesh metropolitan core network: It can realize that the information between data centers reaches directly along the shortest path, achieving 1-millisecond low-latency inter-computing connection; through the下沉 of OTN to the edge, it realizes all-optical exchange, and the business reaches directly with one hop, and entering the network is entering the computing, meeting the needs of individuals, families, enterprises and other businesses to enter the computing within 1 millisecond.

10,000-megabit intelligent access network: The 50G PON technology is接入 to the household scene to realize a household 10,000-megabit network.
