AutoNavi Map Adapts to CarPlay Dashboard Projection Navigation

TapTechNews August 14th news, AutoNavi Map today announced the adaptation of CarPlay dashboard projection navigation, being the first domestic mapping navigation product to adapt.

The dashboard projection navigation, users can display the content of CarPlay on the car dashboard, including applications such as navigation and music, providing a more intuitive and convenient driving experience.

For driving users, to experience it, the following conditions need to be met: the mobile phone model is iPhone 12 and above, and the mobile phone system is iOS17.4 and above; the car machine needs to support CarPlay dashboard projection.

BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lincoln, Land Rover, Jaguar, Volvo, Cadillac, Honda, Volkswagen, Ford and most models

AutoNavi Map introduced that the CarPlay dashboard projection of some older car machines will not display the entire navigation interface, but will display concise information guidance on the screen, as shown in the following figure:

The navigation experience upgrade based on CarPlay also covers multiple aspects, and the underlying engine of the cruise function has also been upgraded, and the information such as traffic lights and lane lines is more abundant, supporting multi-intersection traffic light display.
