Apple Announces Tax-Free Shopping Event and Promotions in Multiple US States

Apple now announces that it will contribute to the upcoming tax-free shopping event, with some areas starting as early as July 19th, and others running throughout the entire month of August.

Arkansas: August 3rd to 4th.

Florida: July 29th to August 11th.

Massachusetts: August 10th to 11th.

Missouri: August 2nd to 4th.

Ohio: July 30th to August 8th.

Tennessee: July 26th to 28th.

West Virginia: August 2nd to 5th.

During the limited-time tax-free activity, users will not need to pay sales tax (including online stores) when purchasing designated Apple products, and can save up to hundreds of dollars at most.

Eligible products and price limits vary by state. For example, users in Arkansas can purchase the $3500 Apple Vision Pro tax-free, but in West Virginia only iPads under $500 (TapTechNews note: currently about 3635 Chinese yuan) are supported.

At the same time, Apple's tax-free offer can be superimposed with the education offer Back to School season, and the latter can get a maximum of a $150 (currently about 1090 Chinese yuan) Apple gift card, and can also purchase AppleCare+ rights at a 20% discount.
