TapTechNews August 15th news, according to the Guinness World Records official video on August 13th, a man has set a new Guinness World Record by connecting 444 game consoles to one TV.
The record was obtained by Ibrahim Al-Nasser, a video game collector from Saudi Arabia, who owns 444 game consoles. Al-Nasser said these game consoles are completely different from each other.
In order to achieve this goal, Al-Nasser connected hundreds of game consoles to one TV through multiple HDMI switches. The first game console in his collection is Magnavox Odyssey (TapTechNews note: Magnavox Odyssey, released in 1972), and the latest is PlayStation 5 Slim (released in 2023).
Due to the large number of game consoles, he also made an Excel spreadsheet, in which each game console is assigned to a specific HDMI switch for easy lookup of which game console to turn on.
For me, Sega Genesis is the best game console ever, always and forever number one, Al-Nasser said in an interview with Guinness World Records.
