Apple to Bring New Game Mode to iPhone in iOS18 Update

On June 11, TapTechNews reported that Apple, at the WWDC2024 Global Developers Conference held today, announced that in the iOS18 system update, a brand new game mode will be brought to the iPhone.

Apple's software chief, Craig Federighi, said that after activating the game mode, the device will minimize background activities to maximize the game frame rate and improve the response speed of AirPods and game controllers.

Apple already added a similar game mode in macOS Sonoma last year, and Apple's introducing the game mode on iOS is to encourage users to play various games on the iPhone.
