TapTechNews July 11th news, AMD has not officially announced the release date of the Ryzen 9000 series processors yet, but has sent samples to multiple review agencies, indicating that the official release is not far away.

According to the information exposed by B&H, the Ryzen 9000 series desktop processors are expected to start pre-orders from July 31st.

Kyle from the Bitwit channel and the source @9550pro both reported that AMD has sent samples of the Zen5 architecture Ryzen 9000 series processors, and showed the appearance of the Ryzen 99900X, Ryzen 79700X, Ryzen 59600X, and Ryzen 99950X processors in the pictures.

The Ryzen 9000 series is the third series of the AM5 socket after the Ryzen 7000 Raphael and the Ryzen 8000 HawkPoint series; it will be equipped with up to two Zen5 small chips, each small chip has a maximum of 8 cores, and a maximum of 16 cores and 32 threads, similar to the Ryzen 7000 series. AMD also continues to support SMT (Simultaneous Multi-Threading), and Zen5 is claimed to have a 16% IPC improvement.

Ryzen 99950X is equipped with 16 cores and 32 threads, 170W TDP, and an accelerated clock frequency of 5.7 GHz (about 132.8 degrees Fahrenheit).

Ryzen 99900X is equipped with 12 cores and 24 threads, 120W TDP, and an accelerated clock frequency of 5.6 GHz (about 132.8 degrees Fahrenheit).

Ryzen 79700X is equipped with 8 cores and 16 threads, 65W TDP, and an accelerated clock frequency of 5.5 GHz (about 131 degrees Fahrenheit).

Ryzen 59600X is equipped with 6 cores and 12 threads, 65W TDP, and an accelerated clock frequency of 5.4 GHz (about 130.2 degrees Fahrenheit).
