Lantu Automobile's May 2024 Delivery Report and New Car FREE318 Preview

The official Weibo of Lantu Automobile announced the delivery situation in May 2024 today: 4521 vehicles were delivered that month, with a year-on-year increase of 51%; the cumulative sales from January to May were 24869 vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 107%.

For comparison, Lantu Automobile delivered 4003 vehicles in April, and the cumulative sales from January to April were 20348 vehicles; in March, it delivered 6122 vehicles, and the cumulative sales from January to March were 16345 vehicles.

Not long ago on May 30, Lantu's new car FREE318 started pre-sale, but the official did not announce the price information. The new car will go on the market on June 14 and is equipped with a 100mm adjustable air suspension, dual-motor intelligent control four-wheel drive, and Baidu Apollo intelligent driving assistance 2.0. As a range-extended hybrid vehicle, it provides a pure electric range of 318 miles (about 512 kilometers) and a comprehensive range of 1458 miles (about 2344 kilometers). Its length, width and height are 4905mm, 1950mm, 1660/1645mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2960mm. The maximum speed is 180 km/h. The new car is equipped with a range-extended hybrid system composed of a 1.5T extender + electric motor.
