Tesla to Upgrade Cybertruck's Motor

TapTechNews July 6th news, Tesla plans to upgrade the motor of the all-electric pickup Cybertruck and has already contacted some early Cybertruck owners , informing them that they will replace the electric drivetrain with a more efficient and reliable motor.

In the notice, Tesla stated that it will replace a drive unit for the owner free of charge in the next maintenance service, and the new drive unit improves efficiency and reliability.

Cybertruck currently has at least 2 motors, and it is not clear in Tesla's official notice which motor will be replaced.

Tesla explicitly stated that the current motor unit does not pose a danger to driving, which makes people think that the new upgraded version is just a more sophisticated motor version. TapTechNews attached relevant screenshots as follows:
