JAC Motors and Huawei's Cooperation First Product to be Launched Next Year

Xiang Xingchu, the chairman of JAC Motors, said at the forum today that the first product of the cooperation between JAC and Huawei has now entered the stage of vehicle verification and is planned to be offline by the end of the year and go on the market in the first half of next year.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Yu Chengdong once said in May that the first model of the smart car brand of the cooperation between Huawei and JAC Motors will be launched in the spring of 2025.

In March this year, the Anhui Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment publicized the Environmental Impact Report of the JAC Annual Output of 200,000 Medium and High-End Intelligent Pure Electric Passenger Vehicles Construction Project. The information shows that the factory is expected to have an annual output of 200,000 vehicles and will develop JAC Motors' new exclusive DE platform and the X6 platform empowered by Huawei's intelligent technology.

The June production and sales bulletin released by JAC Motors shows that the company's sales in June were 32,915 units, a decrease of 3.69% year-on-year; the sales of automobiles in the first six months were 206,200 units, a decrease of 7.57% year-on-year.
