Nanhai Hydrogen Energy Two-Wheeled Vehicle Project Launched, Largest in China

TapTechNews on September 16, TapTechNews learned from Nanhai Release that on September 14, the launch ceremony of the Nanhai Hydrogen Energy Two-Wheeled Vehicle Industry Demonstration Project was held in Foshan, and the first batch of 500 hydrogen energy two-wheeled vehicles were put into use in Pingzhou Jade Jewelry Characteristic Town in Guicheng Street.

The hydrogen energy two-wheeled vehicles that appeared this time were jointly launched by the Nanhai Aluminum Group's Nanlv Cloud Core System and partners such as PanYe Hydrogen Energy and Longyue Vehicle Factory, serving tourists and the public in the way of Internet rental operation. It is understood that two models were put into use this time in the local area, namely the booster bike and the scooter. The riding energy consumption price of the hydrogen energy two-wheeled vehicle is similar to that of the traditional lithium battery two-wheeled vehicle.

Booster bike model: One full refill of 60 grams of hydrogen can last for 60 kilometers of riding.

Scooter model: One addition of 80 grams of hydrogen can have a cruising range of 80-120 kilometers.

Zhang Jiayu, the director of the Nanhai District Development and Reform Bureau, disclosed that the hydrogen energy two-wheeled vehicle demonstration project launched this time is the largest in scale in China. By the end of 2025, Nanhai plans to put 15,000 hydrogen energy two-wheeled vehicles to help Nanhai build a zero-carbon travel demonstration benchmark city and consolidate its leading position in the hydrogen energy industry field.
