TapTechNews Note: Dual 10-gigabit refers to the optical network technical capabilities of '5G-A wireless + F5G-A wired' both exceeding 10 gigabit. 5G-A is an evolved and enhanced version based on the fifth-generation mobile communication technology, with characteristics such as integrated sensing and communication, passive Internet of Things, and endogenous intelligence. The data download rate of 5G-A is 10 times faster than that of 5G, upgrading from the initial gigabit of 5G to 10 gigabit.

At present, Shaanxi Telecom has already had the ability to realize the opening of 10-gigabit parks and 10-gigabit enterprises across the province. By the end of this year, it will realize the large-scale deployment of 3CC carrier aggregation capabilities of 5G-A in 10 cities across the province, continuous coverage of RedCap capabilities in urban areas across the province, on-demand deployment of low-altitude sensing and communication capabilities at any time, and full commercialization of new calls. In 2025, the main urban areas in the whole province will have the ability to open 10-gigabit families.

TapTechNews previously reported that in March this year, Huawei, in cooperation with Shaanxi Branch of China Telecom, completed the deployment of 5G-A 3CC digital indoor distribution in Xi'an Metro Keji Road Station, which was the first deployment of China Telecom's 5G-A 3CC digital indoor distribution equipment in the metro scene.
