SilverStone Launches FARA514X Mid-Tower Case with Side Panel

TapTechNews May 20th news, SilverStone (formerly known as SilverStone Technology) has recently launched the FARA514X mid-tower case with a side panel. The case is available in black and white colors, and the front panel adopts a Mesh air intake optimization design.

The FARA514X case has dimensions of 8.66*18.05*19.38 (inches), and the overall volume is 3.06 cubic feet. The case supports standard ATX motherboards and is not compatible with backplug motherboards.

The front panel fan of the FARA514X case can be installed either inside the main compartment of the case or attached outside the main compartment. The case is compatible with a graphics card up to 14.88 inches long when the front fan is built-in, and further supports up to 15.51 inches long when it is external.

TapTechNews sorted out the cooling compatibility situation of the SilverStone FARA514X case as follows:

Front panel: Supports 3 120mm fans, compatible with 360mm radiator, and pre-installs 3 120mm ARGB fans;

Top: Supports 3 120mm fans or 2 140mm fans, compatible with 360/280mm radiator;

Rear: Supports 1 120mm fan, compatible with 120mm radiator, and pre-installs 1 120mm ARGB fan.

The SilverStone FARA514X case is equipped with 4 hard drive bays: 2 of them are 2.5-inch hard drive bays located in the wiring space behind the motherboard, and there is a dual 3.5-inch drive bay bracket in the power supply compartment.

The case supports a CPU cooler up to 6.61 inches high, and when the hard drive bracket in the power supply compartment is in the front-mounted mode, the longest 8.54 inches power supply can be installed.

The front IO panel of the SilverStone FARA514X case is located at the top right front and provides 2 USB 3.0 Type-A interfaces, 1 USB Type-C interface and a pair of separated 3.5mm audio interfaces.
