Apple Introduces New Background Sounds in iOS 18

TapTechNews July 11th news, Apple has introduced two new background sounds, Night and Fire, in the iOS 18 system to help users focus or rest better and faster.

Apple introduced background sounds (BackgroundSounds) in the iOS 15 system. The official Apple statement says that users can let the iPhone play environmental background sounds such as the sound of waves or rain to help you focus or rest.

TapTechNews note: The existing iOS system of Apple supports 6 kinds of background sounds such as BalancedNoise, BrightNoise, DarkNoise, Ocean, Rain and Stream. Plus Night and Fire, iOS 18 of Apple will offer 8 kinds of background sounds.

Users go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio & Vision > Background Sounds, and then turn on Background Sounds. Users can also click to quickly access Background Sounds by tapping the Hearing Aid button in the Control Center.
