In terms of power, the 35th anniversary special edition Discovery uses the D350 engine, which is a 3.0-liter hybrid six-cylinder diesel engine, able to output 345 horsepower, which is the strongest power unit in the Discovery series ever, exceeding the upcoming D300 with 296 horsepower.

The torque has increased by 37 pound-feet to 516 pound-feet, and the 0 to 60 miles/hour acceleration time is 5.9 seconds, equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
