Intel wrote in the description of these two products that the LGA9324-OKS-AP OakStream platform supports DiamondRapids, which positively confirms the existence of the next-generation Xeon performance core processor and the corresponding platform after Xeon 6 GraniteRapids.

At present, the only known information about the DiamondRapids processor and the OakStream platform is that the informant YuuKi_AnS mentioned on October 13, 2022 that DiamondRapids will support PCIe6.0 and CXL3.0.

But YuuKi_AnS said at that time that DiamondRapids will be equipped with 8-channel DDR5 memory, which should point to the -SP version of this series of processors, which is somewhat different from the -AP version that appears this time.

Compared to the existing LGA7529 Birch Stream-AP platform, the next-generation OakStream-AP platform has increased by approximately 24% in the number of LGA pins. These additional pins are expected to support higher interconnection bandwidth and power supply requirements.

TapTechNews note: The existing Birch Stream-AP platform will support the -AP version of the Xeon 6 performance core and energy-efficient core processors, as well as the next-generation Xeon energy-efficient core processor ClearwaterForest-AP.
