Rimac Launches Special Edition Nevera Electric Supercar to Mark 15th Anniversary

TapTechNews July 9th news, Croatian automotive technology company Rimac has launched a special edition Nevera electric supercar to celebrate the company's 15th anniversary.

The limited edition model is named RimacNevera15thAnniversary, which is built based on the existing Nevera model and there is no upgrade in power. However, even without that, this car can complete the acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2 seconds.

The new car is only limited to 9 units for sale, and the price is as high as 2.35 million euros (TapTechNews note: currently about 18.523 million yuan).

The biggest highlight of this limited edition Nevera lies in its unique visual design. The new car adopts a two-tone body paint, the upper part is a newly developed matte copper paint surface, and the lower part exposes carbon fiber woven texture, supplemented by a bright transparent paint layer. The wheel hubs also add copper elements, which complement the body color. In addition, the new car also has a 15th anniversary commemorative badge.

The interior theme also continues this design. The upper part of the seat uses copper leather, and there is a 15 mark sewn on the headrest. All the stitching in the car uses copper sewing thread, and customers can choose black or white interior. The central armrest is also printed with the words 2009-2024, and the copper door handle also has the mark of 15.

This batch of limited edition models will all appear at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, and then customers can drive them on the famous hill climbing track, which is exactly where the Nevera set the fastest production electric car hill climbing record of 49.32 seconds in 2023.

The amazing performance of the Nevera comes from the 1,914 horsepower brought by the four in-wheel motors. This power system can achieve precise torque distribution, and the driver can adjust the handling balance of the vehicle according to driving preferences, driving conditions and weather conditions.

The ultimate agility of the Nevera is due to its all-carbon fiber body and chassis structure. Unlike most electric cars that place the battery pack on the entire underside of the car, the battery pack of the Nevera is concentrated in the spinal structure in the center of the body and behind the passenger compartment, so that the weight of the whole vehicle is closer to the center of the vehicle, bringing better handling performance.
