Steam Outage Community Inaccessible for Hours

TapTechNews on June 2nd, a large-scale outage occurred on Steam this afternoon. The Steam Community has been inaccessible for several hours, affecting functions including the game community, the Steam Workshop, personal homepages, and third-party logins.

According to the service monitoring website Downdetector, since around 12 noon, a large number of users have begun to report that the Steam service has failed.

TapTechNews found that the DNS resolution record of the previous Steam community domain name (steamcommunity.com) was empty for users' feedback. Currently, in the editor's network environment, the IP address can be normally resolved, but the service is still inaccessible.

The Steam store homepage is not affected and can still be accessed and browsed for game information normally.
