iQOO 13 to Feature Self-Developed Gaming Chip Q2

TapTechNews October 7th news, iQOO product manager @Ge Lan V tweeted today that the iQOO 13 phone will be equipped with self-developed gaming chip Q2.

At present, more information about the gaming chip Q2 has not been released yet. According to TapTechNews' previous report, iQOO's first self-developed gaming chip Q1 was released in November last year and supports super frame and super resolution concurrent and other functions.

According to the introduction, the new-generation self-developed super resolution technology used by this chip adopts a parallel rendering algorithm, the sampling efficiency is increased by 4 times, the execution efficiency is increased by 30%, and the power consumption is significantly reduced by 10%; the self-developed super frame technology is fully applied to the iQOO 12 series, and the official claims that more than 100 games enter the 144 frames era.

At present, some models of the iQOO 12 series and iQOO Neo 9 series are equipped with the self-developed gaming chip Q1, and its main role is in the game scene, supporting PC-level super resolution, and nearly 140 games support super frame.
