Amazon Launches 2024 EchoSpot Smart Speaker with New Features

TapTechNews July 9th news, Amazon launched the 2024 EchoSpot smart speaker in the early morning. This speaker has a built-in 2.83-inch screen, improved sound quality, and removed the camera configuration of the 2017 previous-generation product.

The new Amazon EchoSpot smart speaker is priced at 79.99 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 582 RMB). Amazon Prime members can enjoy a discounted price of 44.99 US dollars (currently about 327 RMB) from now until PrimeDay (July 16-17).

The Amazon EchoSpot smart speaker supports 2.4GHz/5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection, providing physical volume adjustment buttons and a microphone switch.

The EchoSpot is equipped with a 2.83-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 320x240, and users can interact with the Alexa voice assistant to realize functions such as alarm clocks, event reminders, checking the weather, playing music, answering calls, etc.

In addition, the EchoSpot smart speaker also supports controlling smart home devices connected to the Amazon Alexa ecosystem.

In terms of configuration, the Amazon EchoSpot smart speaker is equipped with MediaTek MT8519 processor, 1GB of memory and 8GB of eMMC storage, weighing 405 grams.
