IM Motors to Unveil New LS6 SUV with Advanced Lizard Digital Chassis at Chengdu Auto Show
TapTechNews August 23rd news, IM Motors' official WeChat account announced this afternoon that the first Lizard digital chassis intelligent SUV - the all-new IM LS6 will be officially launched during the Chengdu Auto Show on August 30th.
IM Motors has already started the preheating work for the new car some time ago. The official once compared the relevant technology to the universal wheels of a luggage, suggesting that the new car will have high steering flexibility.
The Lizard Digital Chassis has been equipped on the IM L6 in the first half of this year. It is equipped with an intelligent four-wheel steering system and an intelligent electronically controlled damping system, which can actively sense the road surface information and adjust the response time to 10ms.
According to TapTechNews' previous reports, the IM L6 is fully equipped with the Lizard chassis and supports the whole vehicle's 6-degree-of-freedom digital management. It is claimed to be the first car in China that can crab walk. Combined with technologies such as rear-wheel steering, the minimum turning radius is only 4.99 meters (the official said it is equivalent to the Volkswagen Polo). Install a cerebellum on the car and reshape the whole vehicle movement model. The Lizard chassis can reduce the required parking space length for side parking by 11%, reduce the deviation on extreme low adhesion road surfaces such as residual snow by 80%, and the response speed of high-speed emergency avoidance and obstacle avoidance is 30% faster than that of the traditional ESP system.
The 27th Chengdu International Auto Show will be held from August 30th to September 8th, 2024 at the China Western International Expo City in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
