Lenovo to Release 18.1-Inch Scrollable Tablet in 2025
TapTechNews May 24th, Ross Young, the chief executive of the screen supply chain consulting company DSCC, tweeted today indicating that Lenovo will release an 18.1-inch scrollable tablet in the second quarter (April-June) of 2025.
According to the Korean media ETNews, this scrollable tablet of Lenovo adopts the solution provided by Samsung Display. The size in the unexpanded state is 13 inches, and it can be expanded to 17 inches after being expanded (Ross Young thinks it is 18.1 inches).
This scrollable tablet is developed as a hybrid product of a tablet and a notebook computer, and may support stylus input like Samsung tablets and flagship phones.
TapTechNews reported in February this year that Lenovo obtained a technical patent, and the highlight is that it uses a scrollable screen that automatically extends to both sides when the user needs it, bringing an ultra-wide experience of a wide-screen.
