TapTechNews May 24th news, Gigabyte has recently launched the Fighting series non-modular power supplies with models P650SS/P550SS on its official website, including the white version with the ICE suffix in addition to the standard black version.
This series of power supplies adopts a non-modular direct flat cable design and a single 12V power supply structure.
Gigabyte said that the P650SS/P550SS power supplies have passed the Intel ATX3.0 certification and can withstand a 200% power offset. However, due to the relatively small output power, these power supplies are not equipped with 12+4Pin graphics card power supply cables.
The Fighting non-modular power supply has passed the 80PLUS 230V EU silver certification, the typical load conversion efficiency reaches 90%, the power loss holding time is >16ms, and the MTBF duration is >100,000 hours.
This series of power supplies is equipped with a 120mm FDB bearing cooling fan and supports six major circuit protection designs.
TapTechNews sorts out the power cable configuration of Gigabyte P650SS as follows:
1 set of 20+4Pin motherboard power supply cable;
2 sets of 4+4Pin CPU auxiliary power supply cables;
2 sets of 6+2Pin PCIe auxiliary power supply cables;
1 set of 3xSATA+1x Molex large 4Pin power supply cable;
1 set of 2xSATA+2x Molex large 4Pin power supply cable.
Compared to this, P550SS reduces a set of 4+4Pin CPU auxiliary power supply cables.
