Susan Wojcicki was born on July 5, 1968. She is a Polish-American business executive and graduated from Harvard University, with a master's degree in science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a master's degree in business administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Before joining Google, she worked at Intel and served as a management consultant at Bain & Company and R.B. Weber & Company.

Wojcicki was one of the first 20 employees of Google. Google acquired YouTube for $1.65 billion in 2006. In 1998, she rented the garage of her home to her friends Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who were both doctoral students at Stanford University at that time, and then the two created Google in this garage.

Wojcicki is known as the CEO of YouTube. She held this position for 9 years and then stepped down at the beginning of 2023.
