Intel to Release ArrowLake CPU and Z890 Motherboard with Higher Performance

TapTechNews October 2nd news, the source @wxnod tweeted on the X platform yesterday (October 1st), revealing that the motherboard manufacturers will release the Z890 motherboard on October 10th, and the relevant media reviews of the Intel ArrowLake CPU will be lifted on October 24th.

TapTechNews previously reported that the factory BIOS settings of the Z890 motherboard will mainly use the IntelDefaultProfile to ensure product stability, but it allows manufacturers to add configuration files such as ExtremeProfile for users to choose by themselves.

The first batch of Intel ArrowLake-S processors will include 5 unlocked SKUs, namely Ultra9285K, Ultra7265K(F), Ultra5245K(F). Different from the previous generations of mainstream desktop CPU product lines, the highest-end 9 series will not currently launch a version without an integrated graphics.

According to the latest information, the performance configuration of ArrowLake-S will increase to a thermal design power (TDP) of 250 watts, which means it has a significant improvement in performance.

The release of ArrowLake-S will compete with the AMD Ryzen 9000 series, which is an important market turning point for Intel and will be an important step for Intel in the desktop CPU market.
