China's First Hydrogen Energy Intelligent Intercity EMU CINOVAH₂ Released

TapTechNews September 25th news, at the 24th China International Industry Fair held yesterday (September 24th), China's first hydrogen energy intelligent intercity EMU CINOVAH₂ was released.

It is introduced that the CINOVAH₂ new energy intelligent intercity EMU is a zero-carbon emission new energy passenger transport equipment newly developed by CRRC for the non-electrified line area rail transit. The vehicle uses hydrogen power and realizes zero carbon emission during the driving process.

TapTechNews has learned through inquiry that the vehicle adopts a 4-car formation, is equipped with a 960kW power hydrogen fuel cell, has a continuous operating speed of 160 kilometers per hour, and the maximum operating speed can reach 200 kilometers per hour. When the train operates at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour, the cruising range is about 1200 kilometers; at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, the cruising range is about 2000 kilometers; at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour, the cruising range is about 1864 miles. At the same time, the train has a maximum passenger capacity of more than 1000 people.
