BYD Auto Delivers 100 Electric Buses to Uruguay's Largest Operator

TapTechNews September 25th news, BYD Auto announced that it had delivered 100 pure electric buses to CUTCSA, the largest electric bus operator in Uruguay, at its Qingdao factory on September 19th.

CUTCSA stated that it looks forward to realizing the strategic goal of fully electrifying its fleet by 2040 through the joint efforts of both parties.

BYD Auto introduced that the K9UD electric bus delivered this time is 12 meters long and integrates environmental protection, energy conservation, intelligent technology and safety and comfort. It is a customized product of BYD for the Uruguayan market.

TapTechNews learned from the official of BYD that its new energy buses have currently been exported to several major countries in Latin America, including Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador, etc.
