In terms of parameters, the Xeon W7-2595X processor equipped in ThinkStation P5 has 26 cores and 52 threads, with an accelerated frequency of 4.8 GHz and a TDP of 250 watts.

Although this CPU is already the flagship product of the Xeon W-2500 series, Intel's upcoming Xeon W-3500 series will have more cores, up to 60 cores at most.

This ThinkStation P5 test platform also includes NVIDIA T400 GPU, which is also the lowest GPU option for this server, and customers can upgrade to a maximum of two RTX A6000 (Ampere) graphics cards. It is expected that future P5 systems will use ADA series graphics cards.

The release date of Sapphire Rapids Refresh is not yet clear, but considering that the focus of SIGGRAPH 2024 (Note by TapTechNews: July 28th to August 1st) is computer graphics, there is a high probability that Intel will release new workstation products during the event.
