TapTechNews October 6th news, according to the Ministry of Transport, on October 5th, 2024 (the 5th day of the National Day holiday), the social cross-regional personnel flow volume was 281.6264 million person-times, a decrease of 0.8% month-on-month, an increase of 2.2% compared to the same period in 2023, and an increase of 33.6% compared to the same period in 2019.

Railway passenger volume was 17.881 million person-times, an increase of 1.9% month-on-month, an increase of 5.1% compared to the same period in 2023, and an increase of 31.6% compared to the same period in 2019.

Highway personnel flow volume was 259.85 million person-times, a decrease of 1% month-on-month, an increase of 1.9% compared to the same period in 2023, and an increase of 34.4% compared to the same period in 2019. Among them, the non-commercial passenger car personnel travel volume of expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 224.05 million person-times, a decrease of 1.8% month-on-month, an increase of 2.2% compared to the same period in 2023, and an increase of 74.5% compared to the same period in 2019; the commercial passenger transport volume of highways was 35.8 million person-times, an increase of 4.2% month-on-month, an increase of 0.5% compared to the same period in 2023, and a decrease of 44.9% compared to the same period in 2019.

Waterway passenger volume was 1.5787 million person-times, a decrease of 12.6% month-on-month, a decrease of 4.7% compared to the same period in 2023, and a decrease of 16.3% compared to the same period in 2019.

Civil aviation passenger volume was 2.3167 million person-times, an increase of 4.9% month-on-month, an increase of 14.9% compared to the same period in 2023, and an increase of 20.5% compared to the same period in 2019.
