The director of Gamescom, Tim Endres, said: Following last year's strong growth, we expect to set new records at Gamescom 2024, where there will be more exhibitors and higher international participation.

Fans, industry professionals and partners from all over the world can experience an even more diverse Cologne Game Show this year, including new additions such as the new social stage, cards and board games, and the artist area.

The 2024 Cologne Game Show opening night live streamed hosted and produced by Geoff Keighley will return on August 20 local time in Germany, and the show will be held from August 21 to 25.

Felix Falk, managing director of the German Games Industry Association, commented: One thing is for sure, the 2024 Cologne Game Show will once again be the ultimate game festival. One of the key highlights is the increasing internationality of the Cologne International Game Show, which is also due to the establishment of the Asian and Latin American satellite events of the Cologne Game Show.
