It is introduced that the current Beidou satellite short message does not support data transmission. Huawei compresses the picture to 800 bytes (equivalent to the space of about 400 Chinese characters) through a compression algorithm and then sends it. The received photo will be saved in JPEG format, and the file size is about 80 times larger than before compression.

TapTechNews found out that currently, the Beidou satellite picture messaging function only supports the use of Huawei Pura70 series phones (excluding the standard version). This function is in principle the same as the free editing and sending of Beidou messages, and it needs to be used in a no-network environment, but it can be used by turning off the SIM card and turning off the WIFI.
